Cliffhanger endings in chapters are fine ...Exactly. Cliffhanger endings in chapters are fine (after all, I've already started the book, so motivation to keep reading it is always good), but when it becomes this "oh now buy my next book to find out what happens", it becomes a problem. And a cliche... but mostly a priblem.<br /><br />Actually, character-driven books are some of the best books out there. Grr. ...Cliffhanger endings are a pet peeve of mine. Grr. I hate it when you get all hyped up during the climax of the story...and then the book ends, and you're left feeling like "WHAT?!?!?!! TELL ME YOU DID NOT JUST END THERE!!!" Yeah, my books don't have cliffhanger ends.
